its nice to meet you too and i am honored to be on the first episode of hoot
before i interview you let me just say happy birthday

so how old are you today
im 103 which means i was born in 1904
wow. So how many books have you written.
i've writen 48, most for children, but some were for adults, I've sold over 200 mil. copies and many have been translated to different languages
cool, what was the first book you ever wrote?
It's called And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, it was rejected over 24 times before it was finally published in 1937
That must have been frustrating
very-Now I have a question for you, whats your favorite book of mine
I have to say my favorite book of yours is the cat in the hat I must have read it at least 100 times
I'm glad you enjoyed it
so Dr. suess would you mind reading a short line from the cat in the hat for our listeners?

So I have a website thats fun for all ages kindergaurden throgh whatever. This website is called seussville.com. Its all about dr. seuss. You can read and learn about him, or you can just play games. Dear hoot,
some1 in my class has been mean 2 me lately. this person does things that this person knows will upset me. Should I talk to this person about their behavior, should i just be mean back to the person, should i ignore it, I dont know what to do.hopwfully you will, get back to me soon, ill be listening toodles.
Ok i think i have a solution. Ok well you should try some second step stratagies to calm down when that person annoys you again. Try counting down from 10 and breathe in and out. then you can try calmly talking to that person about why they are annoying you. An nicly ask them 2 stop. now if youve done all that and this person is still bothering you get a trust worthy adult to help u like a teacher or a parent. Ok, i hope this helps! back to you matthew

Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."
Watson replied, "I see millions of stars." "What does that tell you?"
Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?"
Homes was silent for a minute, then spoke. "Watson, it tells me that someone has stolen our tent."

1st graders were awsome. congradgulations guys you did a fantastic job. Un grand merci to Madame Sterner-Porreca and Madame Kimmel for their hard work. Many thanks to the First grade teachers and other Cynwyd teachers, staff, and parents who helped out!
We are all sooo proud of you guys.
