Jonathon-It's the mailman!!!
Matthew- oh cool did we get any letters?

Max-ok hang on. (ruffles through papers) ok, let's see....junk mail, junk mail, junk mail.... ooh something thats not junk mail!
Jonathan- what is it?
Max- it's my new "corny joke of the month" magazine!
matthew- how is that not junk mail?
Max- hey heres a funny one: When is it bad luck to meet a black cat?
Jonathan- uh.... on friday the 13'th?
Max- nope.
Jonathan- then when?
Max- when you're a mouse!
(crickets chirping)
Max- I think it's time for some internet safety tips!
jonathan- good idea.
Matthew- some websites and online games require you to create an account. when you do this, you should NEVER use your real name for your username.
Jonathan- websites like these also sometimes ask you for your birthday and personal information. If you feel they are asking too much, DONT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!
Max-And always make sure your parents know what you are doing online. Check with them before you create accounts or share information!
Matthew- You know what big event is happening at Cynwyd next week?
Max-Uh....
matthew-The Fifth Grade Play of course!
max-Oh, right We the People!
Matthew- That's right! Mrs. Sterner-Porreca, Mrs. Denzel, the fourth and fifth graders and parent volunteers have been working hard to make the play be the best it can be!
Max- The play is based on the preamble to the constitution. Each scene is named after a specific phrase, such as provide for the common defence, and domestic tranquility.
Jonathan- Each fifth grade class has their own "class song" in the play that they have practiced hard for.
Matthew- The first performance will be on monday morning, June 4, followed by 2 more perfomances at monday and tuesday evening.
Max- I wonder how you say "we the people" in french?
matthew- Oh! we almost forgot about the french phrase of the week!
Max- the french phrase of the week is......... nous les americans
Jonathan- which means: we the people!
Jonathan- vive les difference les cole de cynwyd
Max- et vives les etais unis
