Adrian- I was just thinking about how Dare is basically over, and how much we learned what do you think the most important fact or skill that we learned was.
Sarah- How to avoid risky situations
Adrian- Yes, that is very important, but saying no is also huge.
Sarah-Hey Adrian, what's the fifth grade learning in DARE?
Adrian-Well Sarah, we are starting to brainstorm things for the DARE essay. Mine will be using some facts that we learned in DARE like 200 known posins un cigarets, upper respretory proublums and even how it can effect you in school.

Adrian- Madame Infield... producer of the second grade play
Max- What was it like teaching the second graders there lines
The second grade play is always such fun for me. we start by going over the play together. This year I put the play on the podcast so that they could listen to it and practice their lines from it. And some students were able to do that this year.
Sarah- Does the second grade play teach the kids what they did in french class?Culmination of everything we have done this year.
It represents everything we have studied in second grade French.
Adrian- How do you get this play to work every year?
The studetns.
That's what makes this play work.
They are very good at listening to me and following directions.
That's what makes this play work.
Max- How hard is it to not only organize one play but four?
The most difficult part is arranging practice time for 4 different classes.
Madame Werlinsky is always so helpful to me in helping me set up the schedule.
All the teachers are flexible.
Sarah- Is this play going to be any different from the last few years?
There are always a few things that we change each year.
The way the students make their characters. Each group of students has a different way of portraying their characters.
own special gestures.
Adrian- Do you ever worry that someone will be sick
I dont' like to see anyone get sick and miss this great opportunity to perform the play.
We do have a back up . There are other students in other clases who can perform the parts. and always substitute someone and not get sick.
Max- do you ever worry about someone getting stage fright?
Sometimes students say they get stafe fright.
By most of ththe time it doesn't happen.we practice, they feel comfortable.
So, that really isn't aprobelm.
Sarah- thank you for your time
Sarah- Now its time for some study tips for the ERB's
Adrian- First like the PSSA's always eat a good breakfast, and remember have a good nights sleep
Max- The ERB's are timed, but don't rush through. Take your time and you'll be fine
Sarah- Lastly don't cheat or guess if you cheat you don't know if they got the question wrong. If you guess you also can't be sure if you got the question right.
